Church and Sunday school both start at 10:00am, children start in the sanctuary at the start of the worship service with the rest of the congregation. After a children's message or story, the children leave to Sunday school which is in the classrooms in back of the church. Church school ends when the worship service ends, usually around 11:00am. Sunday school is intended for those in grades preK through grade 8.
Class groups are currently broken into 4 groups.
Preschool - Kindergarten
1st grade - 2 grade
3rd grade - 5th grade
6th grade - 8th grade
For the 2009-2010 year we are going to use the Gather Round curriculum as resource for teachers to use during 5 teacher sessions. More information on the Gather Round can be found here...
